In the third quarter of 2024, the leading navigation and maps apps on iOS in Ukraine exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active user engagement. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look into how these apps fared over the quarter.

Google Maps consistently maintained a high number of weekly downloads, starting the quarter with around 41K downloads and experiencing a gradual decline to approximately 23K by the end of September. The app's active user base remained robust, starting at about 1.17M and experiencing a slight decrease to around 1.06M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads fluctuate slightly, beginning at 11K and ending at 8.7K. The active user trend for Waze was relatively stable, peaking at over 212K in mid-August, before settling around 180K by the end of the quarter.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav had modest revenue growth, peaking at around $106 in early September. Its download numbers started at roughly 1.9K, dropping to around 1.4K towards the end of the quarter. Active users showed minimal fluctuation, maintaining a steady count of around 5K.
